Matt Jones
As a classically trained pianist, my primary role at Info On Hold is audio production. I also take an interest in strategic planning and marketing but the majority of my work takes place at our in-house studio.
Over the years, I have worked in music production with the BBC, ITV, Channel Four, Channel 5 and SKY amongst others.
In corporate media I have written and produced for an extensive number of clients including Scholl Healthcare, Lunn Poly, Thomas Cook, Costco, Genentech/Herceptin, Evening Standard and British Airways.
I have always recognised the true value of music and audio productions in general. Whilst used extensively in radio and TV commercials however, their use is not yet widely understood in the corporate sector.
On hold marketing for telephone systems was a relatively untapped industry when we launched our business over 10 years ago - and it still is today. It’s fantastic though to see more and more companies buying into corporate audio media and realising the benefits.
Although we boast over 200 resellers of our products nationwide, we’re still able to offer a very much hands-on approach, something which I enjoy and our customers do too.
When I’m not working, I enjoy watching sport, especially cricket and football. I try to keep fit too, not least because my other hobbies are collecting wine and eating good food… Holidays and travel are also very important to me. With a young family I have very little time for much else!

Mark Nurdin
I have worked in the telecoms industry for more than 25 years, having started my career as an engineer. I eventually launched my own company in the late 90’s and sold to IGC in 2006.
Following this, I co-founded Info On Hold with Matt which has been a hugely rewarding experience. I have particularly enjoyed developing our audio branding and sound marketing business and securing its identity within this rapidly growing industry.
My role is primarily sales and customer care but I also provide technical support due to my engineering background plus extensive knowledge about our products and the systems they sit on.
At Info On Hold we promote a very hands-on approach and thrive on delivering a comprehensive service. To this end, I enjoy personally managing our accounts and building long lasting relationships with customers.
Away from work I am very much a family man, spending many (many) hours watching my son play football. I am also into mountain biking, a keen footballer myself and squash player.
